Quality Inn

Sam was rude to me during check-in, and there's an extra $2.50 service charge each night that I couldn't get an explanation for. The room was tiny, with a jacuzzi crammed into it, and this Quality Inn just didn't work for me. I emailed GM Mr.Patel with my concerns and never got a reply. The breakfast area was sad too, with the lights not even turned on. If you're choosing between this place and a Comfort Inn in Killingly or Norwich, I'd skip this one. I think you'd be disappointed.

I'm furious. My wife was walked in on three times first thing in the morning, and she feels violated. The place often smells like weed. I put out my cigarette in the car in the garage, but was told I couldn't throw it away there because the building was nonsmoking. When I pointed out that I could smell weed, they said it wasn't my concern. They later wanted to charge me $152.50 for smoking inside, which we didn't do. They said they had photo proof, but when I asked to see it, it was a picture of cigarette butts. I had already told them I threw mine away, and the photo was from a can in the garage. Somehow that was being used to say I'd smoked in a building full of pot. After I complained to the manager, they wanted to charge the fee the next day. On earlier stays, they also never returned the deposit hold, even though we left the room cleaner than we found it. Hundreds are gone, and it seems to get worse when I speak up. They're connected to Choice Hotels. I feel stolen from, and I'm considering a lawsuit. I'm not playing this game with those perverts.

The staff were extremely friendly from the moment we checked in, and they helped us when we had trouble with our card. Breakfast was free and really enjoyable, with breakfast sandwiches, freshly made waffles, yogurt, coffee, and plenty more. I'd recommend this hotel, five out of five.

I used to try Quality Inn and its competitors when I came to this area twice a year, but now I stay at the Quality Inn beside I-395 every time. The staff are especially friendly and accommodating, and they have a nice breakfast too.
