Comfort Suites Plano East - Richardson

The rooms were quiet, clean, and nice, and I had one of the best nights of sleep I can remember. The staff were friendly and helpful, too. I was told at the front desk that the property used to be a Best Western before it became a Comfort Suites. There’s a lot of space in the building, and the layout is impressive. I especially liked the bar and lounge, a nice spot to relax. Some areas seemed a little disorganized during the transition and rebranding, which I can understand. It has plenty of potential, and I’m looking forward to seeing how it looks when the changeover is complete. It could become one of the better options around here.

Those two girls are really helpful and listen so nicely. All the staff are wonderful. They have ATMs, an ice cream shop, and a chips shop. It's a wonderful hotel to stay at. I recommend this place to everyone.

I’m grateful AMEX helped me deal with this, because when they contacted the hotel, I was told the manager and staff denied the claims. The employee I spoke to after checking out seemed dismissive and said she’d have to wait for the manager to address anything. I booked two nights, Feb14-Feb16, and arrived the evening of Feb 14th when it was already fairly dark. After sleeping there, I noticed an odor and filth throughout the room, including mold in the AC unit. I packed up and checked out that morning, Feb 15th, even though I had another night booked, and told the staff. I went straight to book a Marriott. This hotel and location were absolutely disgusting. Look closely at the previous 5 star reviews, they look fake as hell.

The bed was very comfortable, and the staff and Manager were exceptionally friendly. The location is good, too. Wonderful experience, and it greatly exceeded my expectations.
