I travel a lot, so being able to make a few meals in the room was a real plus. The King Suites have a small kitchen and a separate bedroom, which makes them feel more like little apartments than standard hotel rooms. The rooms are clean and, best of all, quiet. I also liked that the HVAC fan can stay on continuously, so it doesn’t keep starting and stopping and waking me up.

We chose Plano Homewood Suites again for an extended stay while we’re displaced from home because of water damage. We’re still working through the insurance claim, and this is our second time staying here for that reason. Our two-bedroom suite is roomy and kept clean, with a kitchenette but no oven. The staff have been accommodating and wonderful, we enjoy the free breakfast, and the grounds are well cared for.

That Wednesday happy hour with light fare was genuinely impressive, and breakfast was delicious with a great selection. The rooms are spacious and very clean, too. I’m in town for business and would come back to this hotel every time. If I could give it 10 stars, I would.

The location made it easy to get around Plano, and the hotel had much more space than I expected, including a large outdoor pool and a huge seating area. Breakfast was included and fantastic, with chia pudding! The updated rooms are really spacious. We were in a two-bedroom suite for my daughter’s sports event, sharing with her best friend and the other girl’s mom. The girls could stay together, and we moms still had plenty of room in our shared bedroom. The front desk team was super friendly. The other mom and I are now looking for more Homewood Suites on future trips.

The Christmas Eve snacks, beer, wine, and other drinks the hotel put out at 5:30 p.m. were a treat. Breakfast was good too, especially the chorizo with corn tortillas, and there was always a nice mix of hot and cold options. I brought my dog for the second year in a row in December 24-25, and he absolutely loves it.
