Homestead Apart-Hotel

Next door there's authentic Mexican food, and they make great Margaritas. The hotel itself was a really pleasant surprise when I checked in and saw the room. Rates are reasonable, and the rooms have everything, a microwave, sink, and stove. Everyone working there was very nice, and they keep the place clean. I also enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi. It's a good choice if you're going to a casino, since you can reach casinos on either side of Atlantic City.

I've stayed here over the past seven years and never had a major issue that couldn't be fixed quickly. Last night was the worst stay I've had. I was in room 110, and the people in 108 were so loud with music, laughing, clapping, and talking that it sounded like they were in my room. I went to the front desk, but was told I had to wait until 10 pm for it to count as a noise complaint. I was beyond annoyed. At 10 they did a noise walk-through and knocked to ask them to quiet down. It only worked for a few minutes before the noise started again. What a waste of a complaint. I came all the way from Maryland and was disappointed. I'm not sure I'll return. You can't even pay for some peace and quiet.

They cancelled our room at 11 am, but didn't call until after 6 pm, when we were only 10 minutes from checking in. We had a reservation and were told the room had been sold to someone else. Then they said they could find a room for us to see when we arrived. Once we got there, they said they had no rooms and pointed us to a place down the street that cost twice as much. When I asked why they hadn't called before we drove over, I was called a Karen. Disgusting customer service and unacceptable behavior from management. Why would we want to stay after being let down twice? Karma will get you.

I've stayed here many times and think it's a very nice hotel. Breakfast is continental, there's a pool, and the front desk staff are very nice. It's much more affordable than staying in the city. I'd recommend it for one person or a family.
