Hampton Inn Plover/Stevens Point

The pool and hot tub were clean, with towels easy to find, and it was relaxing to use them after a busy day. My sister and I were here because of a family emergency. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. There were lots of construction workers staying here, but they were mostly quiet. It seems to get quite a few business travelers too. Suzanne did a great job in the breakfast area. There were so many choices, everything was clean and well stocked, and she was very friendly. The desk clerk, though, was openly rude to us and other guests throughout our stay. I raised my concerns with the Manager. On the day she left, she couldn’t have been nicer, so I guess she had been spoken to. As a Hilton Honors member, I highly recommend this property.

The app photos matched the hotel and my room, though I wish I’d taken a few pictures myself. My room was cosy, and I liked the homey feeling alongside the Hilton amenities. It’s a cute, very nice hotel, and the staff I met were friendly and knew the area well.

We’d be comfortable coming back here. The hotel was very comfortable, with easy access to the Interstate and several good restaurants nearby, including a Mexican place next door, a Culver's, and a BrewPub across the exit road. There’s also a park close by with paved trails around a pond. A little farther down the road, there are undeveloped woods where we could walk dogs trained to do their business in the brush. Breakfast had lots of choices: everything bagels, different waffle mix flavors, oatmeal toppings, and a good protein option that changed each day of our three-day stay.

We took a last-minute trip and enjoyed our stay. The staff at Hampton Inn Plover-Stevens Point were amazing, the hotel welcomed pets, and our room was very clean.
