Travelodge by Wyndham Fairplex Pomona

Don't recommend this place. It looks okay outside and in the pictures, like it's been remodeled, but it wasn't clean. The bed cover and bedside table were dirty, and the table smelled bad. There seemed to be makeup on the wall and on the shampoo bottle in the shower. We had to call for towels. They looked okay until we opened them and found hair balls. Really gross, I'm never staying here again!

The pictures are deceiving. We walked in and immediately saw stains everywhere, on the walls, curtains, bed frame, and TV remote. They looked like bodily fluid, though I hope I'm wrong. There was also a burn mark on the counter, and the AC unit was disgusting, caked with dust and grime. I went right downstairs to ask for a refund, but only got half of what we had planned to pay for our stay back. So disappointing. I'll never return.

The location was convenient, and the room had four walls. That's about all I can say in its favor. The door had a hole at the bottom big enough to fit a hand through. Though the room looked refurbished, it hadn't been cleaned, and there was residue on everything. The bed frame made a loud metallic noise getting in and out of bed. The AC wouldn't heat or cool beyond a certain point, the sheets were thin, the pillows uncomfortably bulky, and I saw baby roaches. The room smelled like urine. The environment felt unsafe, with illegal activity, and the staff were rude and incompetent. People in the office couldn't or wouldn't help because they were there but didn't work there. I regret not paying more for somewhere else, anywhere else. I hate that I gave this place money. The five star reviews seem to come from people booking a room hourly for company.

There's no ice machine. The metal bed frame and slightly undersized mattress made me feel like a block of cheese sliding out of bed. The Fairplex was handy, about a five minute drive away.
