The gym was neglected throughout my 2.5-month business stay. Its water machine was empty and unplugged the whole time, with the same two cups sitting on the shelf. A machine had a damaged handle, and the towel hamper was broken and just taped over. Outside one ground-floor window, there was visible mold. We also had fridges that shut off by themselves. One stopped overnight and spoiled food, and management took days to deal with it. Cleanliness was a major problem from the first night. Several people in our group found what seemed to be bedbugs, pubic hair in showers, stained sheets, foul-smelling rooms, and generally disgusting conditions. My sheets were only actually changed maybe two or three times in all 2.5 months. Usually housekeeping just turned them around and tucked them back in. A stain that looked like blood stayed on mine for nearly a month before the sheets were replaced. Many of us had dirty rooms and stained bedding for the whole stay. The lobby water dispenser was one of the worst things. There was visible mold inside and floating at the bottom, and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned or changed in ages. It was replaced only after AJ saw me taking photos. People, including me, had been drinking from it before that, and seeing it made me feel sick. AJ, the manager, made the experience even worse. Every interaction felt like a bother to him. Even a basic request for clean sheets got attitude and disrespect. He was irritable and gave poor service no matter what we asked. On our first night, he lost his composure with everyone waiting in the lobby, despite knowing a large business group was arriving that day. I wasn’t expecting a Four Seasons, but this place is advertised as three stars and the conditions were unacceptable. This was by far the nastiest hotel stay I’ve had. Poor cleanliness, maintenance, and management made it miserable from start to finish. I wouldn’t stay again and would strongly advise others to avoid it.

We should’ve come here first! We’d checked into the Days Inn today, but it was disgraceful, so we checked out and came down the road to La Quinta. The room was already welcoming when we walked in, and they’d left mints and a cute thank-you note on the neatly made bed. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are friendly, and the price was great for what they offer.

The sheets didn’t seem to get changed either. I left the “no smoking” placard on the bed to check, and they just made the bed without changing anything. It makes me wonder whether they even change them between guests when they don’t look visibly dirty. I travel 32 weeks a year and often stay at Wyndam Hotels, and this place falls far below the standard I’m used to. I’m contacting the corporate offices too. I stayed two nights for work. On the first morning, I found a lot of hair and pubic hair behind the bathroom door, brownish liquid spots all over the back shower wall, and dust and pubic hair on the shampoo and body wash bottles. I asked the front desk to have the bathroom thoroughly cleaned while I was out for the day, but nothing was cleaned.

I asked to cancel and get a refund right away after seeing the state of both rooms. The first one was dirty, with brown drool stains on the pillow and an extremely dirty bathtub. The photos I attached were taken just after I arrived. Staff moved me, but the second room was no better, with pubic hairs on the bed. When I reported that, the receptionist acted as if this had never happened before, even though I’d now seen serious cleanliness problems in two rooms. The hygiene and quality control are far below what a guest should expect. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We left after finding one bed unmade, red stains on the other, and a toilet that wouldn’t flush. We’d checked in around 10 PM after a full day at the baseball fields, and when my son tried the toilet, there was no water in its tank. The front desk said there were no other rooms but offered to change the bedding. That was the final straw. We needed a room for a baseball weekend. Since I booked through Expedia, the desk said I had to contact them for a refund. Expedia called the hotel, and management blamed me for the problems. I called the hotel to speak with the manager, but they wouldn’t come to the phone. The front desk associate kept saying it was our fault. I’ll never stay there again, and I hope you don’t either.
