Tru by Hilton Port St. Lucie Tradition

We booked two nights because Sansone Air Conditioning Company left us without air conditioning from May 14 to May 18, despite us spending almost $12,000 on an AC unit they recommended and installed in January 2025. During the first night, I woke up after about an hour and a half to find a roach on me, in the bed under the sheets. I tried calling the front desk but couldn't reach anyone. I told them in the morning, then left around 10am for planned engagements. When we got back around 9pm, the sheets still hadn't been changed, even though the roach, its legs, and parts had dirtied the bed. I had told them the dead roach was right next to the bed. I called to ask for fresh linens and was told they could see what could be done if I extended my stay in the morning. Oh, Hilton. I was considerate enough not to bring up the roach at the front desk in front of other customers, and that was the response. Guest services said a refund would be issued, but that's not the point. Letting guests sleep on linen with a roach and roach legs on it is awful and makes you feel ill. We won't stay here again.

The shared spaces at this hotel were really nice, and it's close to grocery stores, restaurants, Target, and the highways. We're visiting family and originally tried an Airbnb, but never again. The Airbnbs in FL seem sketchy and there's no accountability. Paying a bit more for comfort and flexibility is worth it. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here on future visits.

Great service and wonderful staff, but this isn't a place for light sleepers. The walls are paper thin, so you hear everything: crying babies, doors opening and shutting, even the curtains opening and closing on the floor above. Other than the noise, the hotel is great.

I’ve never stayed somewhere with no drawers and no closet. The room was already incredibly small, so there was barely anywhere to put anything. I was only there two days and had few belongings, but a longer stay would be so impractical. I really don’t understand the design choice, and I’m not a fan.
