The walls let through a lot of sound. We could hear guests having fun in nearby rooms, and when they shut their doors it sounded like our own door was slamming. The polyester bed cover also felt out of place in a room where everything else seemed high quality and cotton-based. We still had a wonderful weekend. The spa was a highlight, especially the steam sauna with essential oils, which made it relaxing and special. There was a jacuzzi and traditional saunas too, though we didn't use the jacuzzi much because the water felt a little too cool. The beds were extremely comfortable, the hotel bathroom products were high quality, and service was excellent throughout. Valet staff were helpful and professional.

I only stay here when I come to Portland. The hotel feels like downtown Portland, and its location right downtown is perfect. It's one of the most beautiful places you'll find, with a cozy bar and a great atmosphere. I don't think there's a better place to stay.

We came back this October for our wedding anniversary, and Isaac at the front desk went out of his way to make it feel special. We've been staying here several times a year for almost six years, and it never disappoints. The charm, location, and atmosphere are hard to beat. Valet parking is a big plus, and the free shuttle makes trips around Old Port and nearby places easy, without needing an Uber or having to drive. This is always our favorite, and we won't stay anywhere else in Portland.

We've stayed here several times and have nothing negative to report. It's in a great spot in the Old Port, the staff are friendly and professional, and having the spa right at the hotel is super convenient. The options and prices there are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Andrew, the valet, was kind, honest, and helpful, and the service was excellent. Our room was nice, though the toilet in room 208 took a long time to refill and made a slightly annoying noise. Otherwise, a really great place, and I'd absolutely stay again. FYI, read the building's history on the website. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
