Our corner king room was beautiful, with huge windows running from the wall to the ceiling, and the pool area was amazing with warm water. The rooftop bar had a lovely view and friendly service. We ate downstairs, where the food was great and the staff were kind. They even helped me get popcorn and soda for later while we watched a movie. We stayed one night and it was perfect. We’ll definitely come back.
For $110, I’d stay again. The room was decent, and we were on the 12th floor, which was pleasant and quiet, with no street or corridor noise. The coffee shop was good, and Blue Honors members get two bottles a day. A pizza window made grabbing slices convenient, it was a nine-minute walk to Pioneer Square, and Columbia parking at the intersection was handy at $5 a day on weekends. Check-out was quick. The rest of the experience felt more like a motel than a hotel. Check-in was rushed, the room had no glasses, extra blankets, or towels, and the bathroom had no amenities. Even the toilet paper was rough. Housekeeping did the bare minimum, leaving the room unsatisfactory on the second night, like an Airbnb. The pool was noisy with kids diving despite the no-diving sign, and it was only open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Elevators were slow, and the public rooftop bar added to evening waits. The lobby bar shut at 10 p.m. There were no nearby restaurants, and the water filling station was only on the first floor. In-room dining came with 20% gratuity and a $5 delivery fee. Are you a hotel or DoorDash? The barn bathroom door had a big gap that compromised privacy.
The room was comfortable and clean, and I appreciated that they accommodated me, my husband, and our dog. For a one-night visit, it did the job. The hotel is conveniently located and very clean, a solid choice for a quick city stay. We could hear our neighbor coughing through the wall all night, which made it difficult to sleep. The soundproofing could be better. Also, there’s no attached self-parking. Valet costs $70, with in-and-out privileges, but the car is kept in a garage down the street. Since Portland is easy to get around by Uber, that price felt high. It’s not a dealbreaker, though it’s worth factoring in.
The staff were nice, and my room was cozy and clean. Just know it’s a card-only hotel. Valet is run by a third party and costs $65 a night; there’s a parking garage across the street for $24 a night.
The room was pretty clean and the hotel was good, but the bed wasn’t comfortable. The fridge leaked and didn’t work, and there was no microwave. The lighting was dim, with no extra mirror for makeup, and the bathroom door was see-through. Parking also cost me $69 for valet, which I didn’t like.
