Wrens Nest Village Inn

The bar and restaurant were a real highlight, with great drinks, food, music, and atmosphere. The manager was cheerful, polite, and helpful, and the grounds and room were lovely and clearly well cared for. My husband and I stayed one night, and the king-size bed in the wrens nest was so comfortable and inviting that I had a hard time getting up the next morning. This was one of the most pleasant places I’ve stayed. Thank you, Wrens Nest, we’ll be back!

We keep coming back to this hidden little gem whenever we can sneak away from work for a few days, and once in a while we get lucky enough to stay a week. It’s become our first choice. There are plenty of places to eat and shop within walking distance, and Hampton and Salisbury beaches are only a quick 10-15 minute ride away. The owners and staff are amazing, and our family absolutely loves it here. The rooms are always clean and tidy, and the themed suites all have in-suite jacuzzis. We’re working our way through every different one. Great experience for the money.

The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the water pressure was wonderful. The bathroom also looked recently remodeled and was very nicely done. My husband had to make a last-minute business trip to New Hampshire, so I tagged along, and we were glad we did. Our room had a decent-sized mini fridge and a microwave. There’s a movie theater, grocery stores, and lots of restaurants nearby. We visited in the cold fall weather, but hope to come back when it’s warm and use the table and chairs outside.

Locals come here too, which says something about the place. The restaurant was awesome, with an extensive beer list that could hold its own against a tap house. We even got to choose which vinyl records would play. The room was clean and nice. It wasn’t modern or chic, but it was still pleasant, especially for the price.
