We found this gem at the end of Market Street, surrounded by historic homes and within walking distance of everything. The Inn is beautifully renovated, and check-in and check-out were simple and fully contactless. My husband and I came for a one-night getaway, then used the coupon for five oysters through its affiliation with The Oar House. We stayed longer for cocktails by the waterfront. Highly recommend.

Casey, the owner, was friendly and accommodating, and some rooms welcome dogs. The Private entrance room worked perfectly for my dog Goose. I also love having on-site parking so close to downtown. This is my favorite place to stay in Portsmouth: the building is cute, full of character, and the beds are really comfy.

I was in town for a September wedding and liked how close this bed-and-breakfast-style place is to downtown Portsmouth, the waterfront, restaurants, and bars. Having direct access to my room was handy, and it had a big fridge and great AC ventilation. The bed was great too.

Unit 1 was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a short stay, and we could bring our dog. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 was the noise. We heard people talking outside and coming and going in the other rooms. If you want complete quiet, this might not be the best unit.

The location is hard to beat. My room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, and the service team was kind, helpful, and quick to respond when I reached out. I stayed here for the first time recently, and it’s going to be my go-to in Portsmouth.
