The front desk man was helpful, and the floors and walls were very clean. But I tried calling for 15 minutes and nobody answered. The room had no towels, soap, or TV remote, and the plumbing was in poor shape. The tub faucet wouldn't stop running. Towels were thin and threadbare, and the sheets were old and wrinkled. Neither of the two rooms we checked would pass an inspection.

The staff living on the property didn't seem to know the return policy. After checking several rooms, I ended up driving two and a half hours home without getting a refund for the room. In the room I saw stained sheets, handprints on the headboard, a door that had been kicked in many times, and no backup latch. The area is full of prostitution, and the hotel staff know about it. This isn't a place for visitors. Pick another hotel.

Everything felt dirty and nasty: the room, blankets, pillows, and towels were stained, and there was no toilet paper. I called the front desk to ask for some, but they didn't care. We ended up buying our own towels, toilet paper, shampoo, and conditioner. Poor customer service.

I've stayed here quite often, and it's actually not as bad as the reviews make it sound. If something isn't up to par, they will fix it. Some reviews are dramatic, and I don't think you should believe everything you read. I find half the people in the world entitled and selfish to begin with, so some comments are quite chemical. People complain that the pool isn't open enough. They might actually open it.
