Antelope Hills Inn

The room was spacious and reasonably clean, and this is a decent budget choice near the Prescott airport. There were quite a few guests staying long term, and the parking lot is shared with Circle K, which seemed odd. The man checking out just ahead of me looked unhappy about something.

The shower pressure was awful, and there’s no bathroom fan. The bed in the replacement room was just as hard as the first one, so after switching rooms I went back to the desk to ask for extra pillows for the night. The young brunette at the counter was busy petting her cat, which was all over the countertops. She said I could only have one pillow, even though two of us were staying there, and told me, “one is better than nothing.” I’ve never seen people working at a lodging establishment act so unprofessionally or ignorantly. For five dollars more, I should have gone to Days inn down the road. I hope enough honest reviews push this place to improve or leave Prescott.

The beds are awful, the rooms smell of smoke, and the whole place is run down. There are mousetraps, and after dark there are lot lizzards in the parking lot. On the other hand, they will rent a room for a few hours in the middle of the day if you pay cash. That worked out for me since the cute Hispanic teller at the bank is my side piece.

I regret giving this motel a chance. The room was old and run down, the outlets didn’t all work, the water pressure was poor, and I found hair on the towels. The pillows were very flat, and we could hear other people at night. The beds were hard and lumpy in both rooms we tried. In the first one, the window was wide open with no security. When I asked the brown-haired woman at the desk for extra pillows for my boyfriend and me, she said we could have only one. I asked for two since there were two of us, but she repeated that one was all we could get and that it was better than nothing. The stay was really disappointing. I should’ve trusted my first instinct.
