Quality Inn Prescott

We stayed at the Quality Inn with our kids to see the tree lighting. The room did its job, but there wasn't anything special about it. My only complaint is breakfast: everything offered was sweet, including waffles, cereal, muffins, yogurt, fruit, and juice. I'm not expecting restaurant food or great quality, but some savory choices would have been nice, even premade sandwiches to heat in a microwave. We bought breakfast elsewhere, which was fine, but there's no variety here unless you want sweet food.

The staff at Quality Inn were so helpful and accommodating. Mike did a great job cleaning my room, and it even smelled fresh instead of having that stale hotel odor. At night I couldn't find anywhere to buy a comb after forgetting mine, so the night shift woman pulled one from her purse and gave it to me. What a kind heart.

We've stayed at this hotel at least five times over the past year. On our latest visit, 2/11-2/16, the general manager was far from professional. My partner was only trying to get our room key card fixed because it wasn't working, and the manager berated him in public and made false accusations. My partner is a decorated veteran of 10 years.

The only good part was breakfast, though there wasn't as much choice as at the place in Camp Verde, AZ, where it was awesome. The bed here was so uncomfortable that we went to Walmart for extra blankets to soften it. On the first day, people were also very loud walking through the hall. I might not return.
