Super 8 by Wyndham Decatur Priceville

The hotel is cheap and the location is good, but last night was very disappointing. If they offer you room 118, don’t take it. After checking in, I went to use the bathroom and the toilet wouldn’t flush. I lifted the lid and found there was no water in the tank. When I needed to go again, I’d had enough and went to the front desk. The receptionist said he’d come, but he was on the phone and never showed up. I don’t recommend room 118. This was probably my last time at this Priceville hotel beside the interstate.

There were bed bugs, and cleaners walked in after we said to hold on. The room had drugs in the toilet. We waited an hour to get a room. The milk at breakfast was old, the apple rotten, and the orange juice tasted like crap.

We left to find another hotel after waiting around 30 minutes with nobody in the office. At check-in, there was no one at the counter, and after 15 minutes I called the hotel line. The phone rang right there at the desk. They still won’t refund my $69. As we were leaving, we saw a drug deal happen. Terrible experience, and I highly recommend NOT staying here.

There was no breakfast or pool, even though the website said both were available. I’d like the Wyndham group to reimburse me for the breakfast I bought at Wendy's. You can see the pool on satellite view, but it’s now filled in with concrete. The room was clean and quiet apart from bugs in the bathroom. The ice machine didn’t work, which really honked off my wife. The receptionist said it was out of ice because so many people had used it, though there weren’t that many people around.
