We stayed three days because we needed somewhere local with a kitchen while our floors were being redone, and we have a six-month-old. We didn't have much choice, unfortunately. I regret booking here. The room was filthy and run-down. Nails stuck out of the carpet, the toilet wouldn't flush, the showerhead was badly rusted, and the bed felt like cardboard. The internet was unusable for both our computer and even our phone. No one cleaned during our stay: no fresh sheets or towels, no trash pickup. The front desk said we had to request housekeeping despite the door hangers. I asked several times, but all they did was leave a bag of towels and toilet paper on the door handle. I eventually put the garbage in the hallway; hours later it was gone and there were fresh bags. I can't imagine how the place avoids mice and rats. Even after asking twice, we still got no housekeeping. The front desk staff acted as if we were bothering them and just left things outside our door. The first impression was just as bad. I came in carrying my baby and a pack and play over my head, and three people at the desk stared without offering help. Do better, Marriott. I hate writing bad reviews, but spend your money elsewhere. This is a disgrace of a hotel.

The only real downside was the A/C, which was really loud, like at most of the other US hotels I've visited. Otherwise, I enjoyed staying here. It's in a mall area with decent places to eat within walking distance, and the apartment was a good size and in good shape for the price. It was quiet, had good WiFi, and felt relaxed. Breakfast was decent for what we paid, too. I'd pick this place over the very mediocre Westin or Marriott in Princeton. They act fancy without really being so.

As an Ambassador Elite, I had a horrific stay here. I'm a disabled woman with a service dog, and staff repeatedly harassed me despite my being a paying guest. They violated my privacy, defamed me, and said I had to leave over hair in the drain. They also called the police and made false accusations about me. Don't stay here.

The breakfast was a solid spread, with fruit, yogurt, pastries, eggs, waffles, and usually sausage patties and bacon. But sausage showed up more often than bacon on five of the seven mornings, and as someone who doesn't like sausage, I'd have liked more bacon. The on-site market was handy for drinks and a late snack, too. We spent a week at the Residence Inn by Marriott Princeton Market Fair and got great value for the money. The suites were spacious and clean, with separate living and sleeping areas, lots of storage, and a full kitchenette. Everything was well kept, so it was easy to relax after long days. Housekeeping was reliable, and the little conveniences made the stay stress-free. For space, cleanliness, and convenience at a reasonable price, it was a five-star find.

The front desk agent, a seasoned Black woman, was great. She was pleasant, patient, and helped us sort out the booking. The hotel is also surrounded by food choices, grocery stores, and shopping, so the location is convenient. It seems like it could work well for families with little kids. The room could have used a much deeper clean. My wife was working on contract in the area, and when we checked in we felt we needed wet wipes for all the high-touch surfaces, counters, furniture, door handles, the full kitchen, and the bathroom. The place could use some aesthetic updating as well. And it's priced high when there are cleaner, more modern hotels less than eight miles away.
