AWOL Hotel Provincetown

It felt more like a lovely little hut than a hotel to me. Tikki Island had a cute, cozy feel, and the team was friendly. The room was made up perfectly even though we hadn't asked for it. The continental breakfast was lovely, too, though our coffee machine was down. Still, an amazing experience.

The location and view were gorgeous, but they really don't justify the price. There were used contact lenses beside the bed from the previous guest. I told them the room needed another cleaning, and when I came back the bed had been made but the lenses were still there. The bathroom wallpaper is peeling, and the wooden counters are moldy. The interior doesn't match the online photos, and this is nowhere near luxury.

We held a small wedding for 25 guests on the property, and it was perfect. Andrew and the AWOL Crew were the highlight of the trip, with impeccable service. LOVE THIS HOTEL.

For me, Provincetown is all about the natural beauty, and this hotel puts you right by thousands of acres of pristine national seashore. Watching sunsets and shooting stars from our private balcony, then waking up to views of the Moores and the ocean, was incredible. The location is hard to beat. The staff were lovely and incredibly helpful, and very handsome, too. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, and there’s a gorgeous pool, outdoor showers, and a fully stocked bar. At night, there are s'mores at the fire pits. I highly recommend a stay at the AWOL hotel.
