We got a very warm welcome and a great off-season deal. One owner offered me a complimentary Diet Coke, and the manager carried our bags up to the room. The people were really nice. Our budget double room exceeded expectations: it was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed except coffee. Some rooms have it and some don’t. It would also help to leave envelopes for housekeeping. The place is close to everything, with friendly staff and an easy, comfortable vibe. We really enjoyed our stay, and the owners were great.

The weekend was a happy one in PTown, thanks to everyone there. Ali was a delight and eager to help. He made the second round of drinks for me and my girlfriend, Cape Cod cranberry mules with blueberry vodka. Tom was fun to talk to at the bar, very nice, knowledgeable, and made great drinks. Peter, the entertainment manager, was understanding and respectful, and handled any issues perfectly. The atmosphere, accommodations, and the way people treated us were amazing. If you’re looking for good people and a good atmosphere, this is the place. We felt right at home.

The "Vexed" sapphic Wicked spoof during the first June Pride weekend was a lot of fun. The show and the piano bar afterward were excellent: great singers, talented musicians, and interesting writing. We laughed and had a good time singing along. The owner or manager seemed truly excellent and engaging, and we appreciated her conversation and check-ins. We arrived thirty minutes early as the tickets and website instructed, but were seated around 7:30pm for a 7pm start. That was an unexpected wait after arriving at about 6:30pm, though staff told us another show was happening beforehand. Food was mediocre at best, and the wait staff service left a lot to be desired. We had to ask several times for the aioli that was supposed to come with the fries, and our table felt like an afterthought. The margherita flatbread was nothing special; the three-cheese ravioli had decent sauce; the bread basket had nice butter, but the baguette wasn’t cut all the way through. Food was overpriced and underwhelming for what it promised. I’d maybe eat dinner elsewhere and come by for drinks instead.

The street noise made it hard to get a good night’s sleep, and for the price I expected somewhere more comfortable and quiet. The location is decent if you want to be right in the middle of everything. I really wanted to love this place because the building is historic and charming, but the stay was frustrating. It felt tired and worn down, more than quaint.
