Snug Cottage

The location is great, just steps from the east end of Commercial Street and all its shops, restaurants, cafes, art galleries, drag shows, and more. It’s still far enough away to stay quiet and peaceful. My partner and I had a really nice week at Snug Cottage and would happily book again. The hosts and staff are charming and friendly, and made our downtime feel very pleasant. Our cozy room had a TV, private bathroom, mini-fridge, and microwave. Breakfast was healthful and provided each morning, and the living room and secluded garden patio were welcoming spots to read, relax, or have a drink. Thanks, Gary, Jared, and Docas!

The location is just one street up from Commercial, so it’s an easy walk to the main part of P-Town, while staying quiet at night, away from nightlife and traffic. There’s also a tucked-away bike rack beside the building. The continental breakfast was delicious, with pastries, yogurt, granola, fruit, and coffee, and the little side garden was a lovely place to eat and plan the day. The inn and rooms are beautifully restored, with the character and history of an older home alongside modern comforts, including working mini-split A/C. The beds were truly comfortable, a rare treat away from home. We came for a quick two-night getaway and are so glad we found Snug Cottage. The owners were welcoming, moved us to a larger room with a beautiful water view, and helped us check in early. They also provided beach towels, chairs, and bug spray. This will absolutely be our home away from home for future trips to P-town.

We stayed for a full week in early August and felt well looked after. The room was serviced on the mornings we asked using our sign, and they remembered the little things. Jared and Gary were a delight. It has that lovely coastal inn feel, and the location is great: away from the bustle, but just a four-minute walk to the galleries, restaurants, and bars. My husband and I are so glad we chose this place. We’d recommend it and will definitely return.

The innkeepers were friendly and really helpful, and the location is close to commercial street. Guests can borrow beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels. The cottage is comfortable, with lovely rooms, and breakfast includes fresh fruit, cereal, homemade chocolate croissants, and much more. We enjoyed our stay. It’s a great place.
