The Crown and Anchor Inn

Every morning there was coffee and either a pastry or shortbread, which was such a nice touch. The room was lovely, the bed and pillows were comfy, and it had everything we needed. If something was missing, they made it happen. They went above and beyond with our questions and made us feel at home. Honestly, the best place to stay in ptown. 10/10, I didn’t want to leave.

We’ve stayed at the Crown & Anchor three times now, and each visit has been just as good as the last. The hotel is easy to get around on foot, and the staff are attentive and friendly. The rooms have a lot of charm, and if you spring for a balcony, the views are unbeatable. There’s a nightclub on the first floor, so light sleepers should keep that in mind.

I went to see an Anita Cocktail show in the cabaret, not to stay at the hotel. The show was fantastic, but what really stood out was how kind and accommodating the staff were. I’m hard of hearing, and my hearing aids had broken earlier that day. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to hear the show, but they were thoughtful about my disability and helped turn what could have been a stressful night into a really fun one. Thank you, Crown&Anchor, for being inclusive.

Todd Alsop has an amazing voice, and the way the Madonna songs were arranged made it a night I’ll remember. Loved the atmosphere. I’d highly recommend going to see it.
