The rooms were spotless, with a great view from both the front and back, and we felt really safe. My boyfriend and future husband Ki McAlister and I spent the weekend here and made some of our best memories. We’ll be back.

There was a lot of black mold in the showers. We stayed two nights in two rooms, and both had unpainted walls with some kind of substance on them, possibly blood or dirt. When we told the front desk about the mold, they got defensive. The business presents itself as fast and available with good rates, but in practice it covers up serious problems. For the same price, I'd suggest River Inn across the street.

The people working there were friendly, and the location was convenient for us. Our room was clean, but there were several problems. The fridge was so loud when it switched on that it sounded like an air compressor. The sink had no stopper, so a small item like a toothpaste cap could fall down into the curved pipe underneath. Guests right above us stomped around noisily until after 1 a.m. Then at 4:30 a.m., someone who looked homeless knocked on our door.

The attendant was kind, the shower had strong pressure, and we didn't find bed bugs. But this room really needs a thorough cleaning. The walls and furniture need a serious wipe-down. On our last day, I found a French fry under the bed, and we hadn't eaten any.
