Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Pueblo

I've stayed in worse places, but I'm not sure I'd come back. The fridge kept waking me with a noise like an old car, and I couldn't get the AC/heater to adjust the temperature. The wall control said to use the unit by the window, but that didn't work either, so I unplugged it. The wall around the light switch was poorly finished, and the bathroom faucet wasn't fastened on. It came off when I turned on the water. A little rough, but not the worst.

The room was spotless and came with a kitchenette, plenty of towels, and hot water that heated up fast and stayed hot. The beds were comfortable, and the heater worked well even with temperatures in the teens outside. The price was reasonable, and the hotel welcomes pets. My complaints: the desk clerk was very rude to my wife during check-in, and there was no grassy spot where a dog could comfortably go potty. The landscaping is all rock.

I was in Pueblo for work for nine months and stayed here for a week. It was the best place I'd stayed. The prices through Expedia were super low when I booked, though they've unfortunately gone up again. I'm hoping they come back down.

Breakfast is pretty small, mostly snack foods like yogurt, boiled eggs, oatmeal, and coffee. Still, the hotel was great and super clean, and it smelled fresh around every corner, like there was air freshener in the vents. I'd absolutely stay again.
