I was traveling home for the holidays when I got food poisoning and stopped here. They were kind and accommodating, and got me checked in early and quickly.

The room looked clean and updated, and we were able to book at the last minute. For under $60, this worked as a decent stop on our drive from Kansas City to Houston. The bed was a little soft, and the microwave turntable and bathroom fan didn’t work, though neither was a major issue. I did spot three long black hairs in the sheets, possibly from housekeeping, but it was still a nice place to stop.

We stayed here for three months and left just under a week ago. The owner and his wife were friendly and easygoing, and the housekeepers were really friendly too. Brandie at reception is the best. We love her, and she knows the area well and can help with pretty much anything. The rooms are dated, but clean, and everything worked as it should. And the coffee is always fresh and hot. Give it a try.

We’d stayed here several times before and usually found the service and rooms above average. On 09/21/24, after an OU game, we arrived to check in for our reservation without any trouble at first. Then we noticed our room door hadn’t latched from the parking lot, and when my husband checked upstairs, the room hadn’t been serviced. The manager, or owner, said there weren’t any other rooms. I reminded him we had a reservation and had stayed there before, so they cleaned that room for us. We might give them another chance, but I’m unsure. Having the room unready left a sour taste.
