Embassy Suites Raleigh Crabtree

Breakfast was delicious, and the staff looking after diners were especially friendly. The young woman taking omelette orders was quick and made a fantastic one for my wife and me. Ms. Paula cleared tables around us while chatting with guests at each table, seemingly keeping three conversations going at once. She made everyone feel comfortable and at home, and she and my wife got along fantastically. We were in Raleigh for an event at The Lenovo center and had an excellent time. The hotel is just across the street from the Crabtree mall, so there were plenty of places to eat and shop before we went out for the evening. Parking was easy: I got a tag for my car instead of having to deal with a complicated automated entry system. We arrived around 3 or 4 p.m., found plenty of spots on the first level, and didn’t have to circle for a space or walk far to the elevator into the hotel. The lobby was clean and pleasant, with seating where you could have a quiet chat without interrupting the check-in flow. My room was clean and had all the linens we needed. I’ve stayed here a few times before, and visits like this keep reminding me why I come back whenever I’m in Raleigh for business.

The evening reception was a fun extra, with drinks, soft drinks, and snacks every night. We also liked having suites, which gave our group of different ages and sizes room to spread out. The kids especially enjoyed the indoor pool, and it was kept clean. Everything felt well run, the staff were friendly and patient, and our accommodations were very clean. We had a wonderful New Year stay and will definitely come back.

Paula made breakfast such a nice part of our morning. She was warm, made us laugh, and treated us really well. The room had plenty of space for our girls' night, too. Thanks, Embassy, for a great weekend!

At a hotel in this price range, I expect the room to be clean before check-in. The bathroom mirror had obvious spots and residue, and the carpet was soaked enough to leave the whole floor damp and uncomfortable. It felt as though water was held in the padding, which left me concerned about sanitation and upkeep. The room seemed not to have been properly inspected. I rarely post negative reviews, but this stay at the Embassy Suites in Crabtree (Raleigh, NC) was extremely disappointing and, honestly, unacceptable for a Hilton property. Embassy Suites usually has a strong reputation, which made it all the more frustrating. I hope management addresses housekeeping and maintenance so other guests don't have this experience. The room's condition was far below what this brand should deliver and deserves management's attention.
