La Quinta Inn and Suites by Wyndham at WaTiki Waterpark

After such a long drive, getting into a room a little early so we could rest made a big difference. We’d had trouble getting the room type we originally requested, but crystal P. quickly found a solution. She was cordial, professional, and just a phenomenal person to deal with. The room was beautiful, the water park was amazing, and breakfast was delicious. We’ll definitely be back after such a great stay. Thanks for having such good people represent La Quinta.

Dawn, the event coordinator, kept in touch with me throughout the planning for my granddaughter’s birthday party at the Waterpark. Everything went perfectly, and all the staff were helpful. Our room was comfortable, clean, and convenient. Thanks to everyone at Watiki for making it such a memorable event. 🫶

The halls stayed noisy with kids late into the evening, which comes with a hotel attached to a water park, but we still had a pleasant stay and would return. Check-in was smooth and booking the two double-bed rooms, 205 and 207, was quick and easy. The beds were comfortable, though the pillows were flat; I bring my own since hotel pillows often seem that way. The hot tub was just the right temperature, while the lazy river felt cold. Breakfast was about what you’d expect, nothing special, but I appreciated having a man make the waffles for everyone since some people don’t know how to use the irons. Sliders’ pizza, burgers, and appetizers seemed pricey for what they were. The bar was ridiculously expensive too, over $30 for two drinks, and neither was good. If you want drinks, you’re better off bringing your own.

My child and I had a wonderful time, from the Waterpark and arcade to just hanging out in the room. Every staff member was kind and accommodating. Precious at the front desk deserves a special thank you. We had such a great experience!
