We had a reservation and waited until 3 p.m. for check-in, but nobody was there, just a note on the door with a number to call. We tried calling for several hours and went by the location multiple times, but nobody showed up or answered. In the end, we had to contact Travelocity.com to get our money back and find another motel. I never learned what happened. The experience has made me want to book directly with hotels instead of using a service. This was incredibly inconsiderate. I don’t recommend the place and will never return.

The rooms were terribly dirty. Management, Mike, refused to let me speak to the owners and held my mail until I returned the key. Worst stay ever.

We were away from home for three months and had a wonderful stay. We got to know the owners, and even with our noisy two-year-old, our neighbors never complained. The price was quite low for an extended stay. Our medium-sized room had what we needed, including a refrigerator, microwave, and table. It was cleaned weekly, and I was welcome to borrow the vacuum to tidy it myself. The housekeeper was friendly, and I’m going to miss her.

On a cold November night, I needed a good night’s sleep in Rapid City and came across “Lazy”. The hotel owner welcomed me warmly and was very kind and helpful. My room was clean, and the quiet area meant I slept well. I can strongly recommend this place.

I had a very rude manager. The toilet in my first room didn’t work for three months. My second stay was a racial stay, I got ganged, and I found out the manager was working with cops. I got kicked out because of the manager, and he still owes me $350.
