My family and I weren’t satisfied with our stay. Everything else was pretty bad, though I did have one positive moment: whoever was at the front desk that night, May 29th, was very nice to me. The reasons are below.

I can’t believe this just happened. A few days ago I stayed at this hotel for work, and now someone called me who was clearly connected to it. They already knew my name, dates of stay, and all kinds of personal information. The caller tried to sell me an annual package. I stayed on the phone for eight minutes, though I should’ve just hung up; I was so taken aback by how bold they were. It’s infuriating to think my personal details from a work trip may have been collected and then sold to a marketing company to harass me. I don’t know what to say.

I liked that the location was away from busy downtown, so it was quieter, and I felt very safe there. The service was friendly and easy to communicate with. I noticed crumbs in the carpet by the bed, cobwebs in the bathroom, and a couple of stains, but none of it made me feel gross or especially uncomfortable. It was a pleasant stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful, though the rooms were missing basic amenities and breakfast wasn’t very good. It was an adequate hotel, nothing more.

The location is a little odd, so having a car is necessary. The fitness centre only had cardio equipment, no weights, and breakfast was a simple continental spread. Still, I loved staying here: the staff were nice, and the place was clean and comfortable. After weeks on the road, having a kitchenette where I could cook was great. The beds were very comfortable, and the pool was excellent. I’d stay again.
