The beds were wonderfully soft, and the shower was spotless, even the glass doors. Breakfast was good, though I would have liked the potatoes and oatmeal cooked a little more. That's just my preference. The remodeled building is well cared for and the outdoor area is an unusual but comfortable feature. Some exterior tiles and doors could use replacing. The price was very good, and I was pleased with the stay.

The showers are the recurring problem for me. In the different rooms I've tried, the pressure is often low or the drain backs up until water pools on the floor, so I have to cut the shower short. I don't like standing in pooled water. I've also found a spider in my bed, and the hallway vacuuming at 8:30 on Sunday morning has happened more than once. I mention these things to the desk at checkout. Still, I have a good stay here most of the time and plan to keep coming to Oxford Suites Redding. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and I've gotten to know a few. The front desk is welcoming, the housemen are helpful, and the morning buffet ladies are fun to talk with. Even last-minute walk-ins have been easy to check in. The beds are comfortable and breakfast is free and hot. I'd recommend staying here.

We had plenty of space in the suite for an overnight stay, including room to move around and tuck our bags aside. Breakfast downstairs was okay. The coffee, though, was disappointing. I wish more hotels put effort into making good coffee, maybe with a real espresso machine.

Breakfast is one of my favorite things about staying here, it's amazing. I come often, and the rooms are always comfortable, even though some are nicer than others. The staff are consistently friendly and great to deal with. I'll keep coming back.

The complimentary soup and salad, along with wine and other drinks, were a nice touch. Oxford Suites is convenient to the freeway and nearby businesses, and the property is well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this location.
