There are some pretty fountains and a small smoking spot under a gazebo, and it was handy having a clean mini fridge and an easy microwave. Our room and bathroom were clean, with a desk area and especially nice smart TV. The pool and jacuzzi are there, too. Breakfast was a little underwhelming, though the 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. hours were convenient. Check-in was at 3 p.m. and checkout at noon. We booked through a third party and paid a $100 deposit, which came back shortly after checkout. People kept slamming doors morning and night, the one downside, but we were very satisfied overall.

The floors need a deep clean, but the staff quickly took care of any concerns or needs. The breakfast selection was the biggest I've seen, with bacon, eggs, fruit, juice, and more, served 5:30-9 a.m. There are mountains visible from the front, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped with romantic fountains. Arriving at night, I thought the place looked like a dream. It's a beautiful, refreshing little community, laid out thoughtfully in a small area, like your own slice of paradise. The location is close to fast-food places, Coco's, and a Dollar Tree you can walk to. A couple of miles away are shopping options including Nordstrom Rack, Five Below, TJ Maxx, Ross, and Home Depot, plus more restaurants and a huge movie theater. Ontario Airport is nearby, and the beach and amusement parks are no more than an hour away. Perfect, I didn't want to leave and can't wait to return!

The classical music playing across the property and the gentle sound of water outside the door make the place feel surprisingly calming. I travel a lot, and this was a refreshing change. The Tempurpedic mattresses, quality pillows, and cozy furniture were lovely. You can turn on the fireplace without heat, which makes it a nice, affordable romantic getaway for a night or a weekend.

For a local bit of time to myself, this feels like a perfect little getaway. I'm a stay-at-home mom, and I'd recommend it when I need a nearby break. Breakfast is included, so you don't have to think about that, which feels like a vacation on its own. The spa and sauna are available until 9 p.m. every day, another plus. It's also close to shopping centers, and Mountain grove plaza is about a 5-7 minute drive.
