I should've taken photos, but instead I got back in the car and looked for somewhere else. The room was a dump, with three double beds and a jumble of ancient furniture. Maybe all those beds were there to hide the filthy, stained carpet. The smell hit first, stale tobacco mixed with damp mold, and worse than either. I had booked a room here to break up a long drive. I'd be wary of the fake reviews from “people” who've only ever posted one review.

The room covers were stained, the tubs were nasty, and the walls were dirty and covered in stuff. There was mold everywhere, and the rooms smelled like pee and smoke. I felt unsafe and worried my car might get broken into. I don't know how the place passed its health inspection. After I mentioned the room, the family owners' attitude made it clear they weren't happy to hear it. The good reviews are fake. Do not stay here. Worst hotel I've ever been in.

Only come here if you've got nowhere else to stay. It was dirty and had no breakfast, clean pillowcases, or dressers with shelves.

I checked out just an hour after checking in, and didn't get a refund. The hallway reeked of food mixed with mold. In the room, there were dried food stains on the tables, chipped paint, creaky floors, and a bed that was loud and hard as a rock. I called a few family members to help decide whether to stay, since the prices were cheap. In the end, I called other hotels nearby and paid $350 to book another place at the last minute. It wasn't worth the price.
