Economy Inn

This place is a dump, and it was only about $10 less than a much better spot two blocks away. I used two stars because I don't like using hate in my vocabulary. I expected poor quality, but there were no cups, coffee, or washcloths, and the carpet was badly stained. It looked like it had never been maintained. A lobby notice the next morning said nobody would be available until 8:30. I called to say I couldn't wait and would mail the key for my deposit, and the woman rudely told me there was a drop box for it. I must have missed it during my caffeine-free morning. The man who helped at check-in was so perverted that he stuck his tongue out and down like a drooling animal and said, "body look good." Ha ha, I work out. I can only imagine what it must be like for the woman on the phone to have to work there. Bad hotel, don't go!

This is a very bare-bones motel. I wouldn't expect much maintenance or maid service. It's cheap enough if all you need is a place to sleep, but I'd bring an extra sheet, my own blankets and pillows, and maybe towels too. Rooms have a tiny fridge, microwave, and an older tube TV.

The office staff are kind, and it stays pretty quiet since guests seem to keep to themselves. The building is a bit old, but it was still better than sitting in our car or being outside in the rain.

I somehow tapped one star by accident, and I don't even remember doing that 😂. This place is actually really chill. Nothing seems fishy, people mind their own business, and the location is amazing. There are lots of families and no parties, which is great if you don't drink or want noise. The rose bushes are blooming, which is pretty cool 🦋. It's also beside a bunch of places of worship, my favorite part. Five stars from me, contrary to that one!
