Hampton Inn Richland

We've stayed here twice, and it was nice and clean both times. The food is basic cafeteria-style stuff, nothing fancy, but it was good for what we needed on a quick rest stop before getting back on the road. The staff were fast and friendly. I'd definitely stay again and recommend it for a pit stop.

Pleasant staff, a standard breakfast, and a clean, serviceable room. The hotel is pet-friendly and sits by a busy highway, with lots of different places to eat nearby. We had sushi. There were quite a few maintenance annoyances, including broken switches and toggles, exercise equipment that was broken and out of service, and very little soundproofing in the walls and ceiling. Good enough for an overnight stop while passing through.

The bed was good, the HVAC worked well, and the rooms were roomy enough, but for the price we expected better. We had to change rooms because the first room's door wouldn't lock. In the second room the toilet ran all night, so we had to shut off the water supply to get any sleep. The hotel generally needed maintenance, and breakfast was sparse and poorly prepared.

It was a comfortable, peaceful stay, and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was fresh and hot, and the staff were especially helpful. Thanks, Brittany.
