Hotel Ridgecrest an Extended Stay Studios

While I was in Ridgecrest, Hotel ridgecrest was an affordable and safe place for me. The management was very nice and helped me out. My room was tidy and safe. Thank you!

I thought Extended Stay America would be a simple, affordable one-night stop on my road trip. Instead, I had to leave early and look for somewhere else at midnight, which added stress and hassle to my trip. The room was filthy from top to bottom. The sheets and pillowcases had black and yellow stains, and the bath towels had the same disgusting marks. It looked like they hadn't been properly washed in months. The whole place seemed poorly maintained, with scuffed walls and outdated fixtures. Worst of all, there was visible mold along the bathroom edges and windowsills, which seemed like a real health risk after a long day driving. I'm not expecting five-star luxury on a budget, but basic cleanliness and a mold-free place to stay are the minimum for health and well-being. They couldn't provide that. Avoid this chain if you value your sanity and well-being. There are better budget motels that at least meet hygiene standards.

The team at the property were kind and supportive, and I had a wonderful stay for the money. I'll stop by again.

The staff member at the desk was polite and tried to sort out the booking mistake, but the suite I paid for was supposed to have a full kitchen, two queen beds, and a bedroom. It had no kitchen. He said the online booking had been mixed up and there was only one kitchen room, which wasn't available, so he refunded me a couple of dollars. After dinner with local friends and family, I came back to a strong raw sewage smell. The bathtub was dirty, and rinsing what looked like surface grime didn't help the odor. The sheets and towels were dirty too, and the floor showed what looked like repeated water damage. I canceled the last two nights and went somewhere else.
