Clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a bed that felt safe to sleep in. The staff were friendly, the lighting was good, and the heat and air unit was quiet. There were power outlets and USB ports on both sides of the bed. A few things made the stay less convenient: you need a $20 cash deposit at check-in, and there were no water cups, hand towel, clothes hangers, or coffee in either the room or lobby. The lobby wasn’t available, so check-in and checkout were through a small side window. Traffic was noisy even with my hearing aids out, and there was no do-not-disturb sign. The showerhead was so low that anyone over about 5' 5" would have to bend their knees to wash their hair. Could work for a short stay. Bring your...

The couple who live there were really nice and friendly, but I wish the room had the amenities listed on Booking.com. I’d reserved a king bed, but didn’t get one. The TV didn’t work, there was no microwave, and the shower never got warm.

I picked this place because it was affordable and close to my daughter’s college. The room had some updates, including the floor, paint, bathroom tile and fixtures, mattresses, and headboards, and it was clean. The staff were friendly. The towels and bedding were thin and scratchy, though, and the building seems old and rundown. Apparently smoking is allowed, which was gross. It’s a no-frills, budget-friendly place, and I’d be interested to see it once the renovations are finished.
