Motel 6 Riverside, CA - UCR East

Ms. Yolanda’s service made our stay especially enjoyable. We really appreciate the care she showed and the high standards the team aims for. Thanks for choosing our establishment and for taking the time to share such kind words.

The room key was a constant hassle. Nearly every evening when I came back, it had stopped working and I had to return to the front desk to get it reset. After working nights, I also needed to sleep during the day, but there was no “Do Not Disturb” sign for the door. Housekeeping knocked loudly and repeatedly in the mornings, and once the front desk called insisting I let them in even after I said I was still sleeping. Their persistence felt rude and showed little understanding. I know rooms need cleaning, but this happened daily, even though I’m a tidy guest and kept the room clean. It made it hard to relax or enjoy the stay.

I’d hoped Riverside might pleasantly surprise me, but this stay was a shock. The room stank, and I told my wife I was glad I hadn’t brought a blacklight. People argued outside late into the night. I put on my “Trash-Cancelling” headsets because I was worried about getting stabbed, and eventually fell asleep. The place could improve if the owners wanted to: refresh rooms bit by bit with cheap paint, washed curtains, and properly cleaned floors. They can’t control the clientele, but they can make the rooms better. Please don’t reply. Your past responses to similar complaints have been all talk and no action.

The rooms are clean and nice, the staff are friendly, and the service is good. It’s also well located for fast food, including Danny's IHOP. If the other motel 6 is charging too much, come here instead. They’ll help with your needs, at least to a point.
