I spent a week here and wouldn't recommend it if you expect quiet or respectful neighbors. On the first night, I had to call the police about a domestic incident next door. The one positive about the rooms is that they had no bugs.

The staff put the customer first. I had a small issue with the deposit I paid when moving in for a month, but they went out of their way to make it right, and I left completely satisfied. They were friendly and helpful throughout, and the coffee was always hot. I had recently relocated to Roanoke, didn't know anyone or how to get around, and needed somewhere to stay while I got settled. The Knights Inn gave me a good monthly rate. My room was very clean, the appliances worked well for my needs, and the room facing Williamson Rd was quiet at night. I also enjoyed the pool briefly until the weather got too cold. They advertised breakfast, but it was never much to brag about. That was fine for me since I ate in my room or elsewhere anyway. I'd recommend the Knights Inn Roanoke for an affordable, decent long-term or weekly stay, or even just a night. Two thumbs up!

The low weekly price was the only reason I stayed at the Knights Inn in Roanoke, VA for about six weeks. You get what you pay for. The carpet was so grimy I didn't want to walk on it barefoot, and the shower curtain was nasty. It didn't feel like the room had been properly cleaned before I moved in. I saw bugs at first, though they disappeared after a couple of days. The ladies at the desk were always nice. I never tried the breakfast, so I can't comment on it. There were some sketchy-looking guests who sat outside and got loud and obnoxious, especially on weekends. One night it got so bad that I called the police because management wasn't doing anything. Weeks after I left, I drove past and saw the same big group sitting outside in their chairs. The pool wasn't working, and I assume they didn't have the money to repair and reopen it. The office had a picture of how the Knights Inn and pool used to look, when everything looked great. It seemed odd to show guests that while the place looks so rough now. The cheap price was the sole reason I put up with it.

It was even worse than when I stayed here ten years ago. The place was filthy and disgusting, with bad roach and bedbug problems, worse than at other cheap hotels I've stayed in. That was enough for me, and then they also refused to refund my money. In my opinion, they robbed me. The worst part was the so-called "manager." The owners let her do whatever she wants without consequences or conscience. They seem completely unaware that she controls everything there, and they sit back as if they don't care that she is the main problem with the hotel. I wish I could give it zero stars, but I had to give one to speak on the atro...

It was a rough stay, maybe because I booked at short notice and got a bad room. Almost everything in it was broken. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and kind, though.
