The location made it easy to get to nearby attractions, shops, and transportation, and I appreciated that pets are welcome. Our room was clean and well kept, with the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and ready to help. The whole place felt pleasant and welcoming. I'd recommend Residency inn Hotel to families, couples, business travelers, and pet owners looking for an easy, relaxing stay.

Renèe and Tom on the night shift were so understanding and made the stay great. They let us borrow a wheelchair, and the pet charge was a flat fee. We had a one room suite on a reasonable floor, though the pullout bed took up so much space that it was hard to move around once it was open. The in-room amenities were great. Breakfast was full service, with coffee to go and a free cookie, too. We’ll keep booking Residence Inns as we move. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The staff were great, and we’ve stayed here before because Roanoke is a convenient stop on our travels. This visit, though, the bedroom TV turned on without showing a picture, and the thermostat didn’t work, so the room heated to 79 and we had to shut the system off. The hotel needs refreshing and didn’t feel up to the usual Marriott Residence Inn standard. We’ll skip it next time.

The parking was plentiful, and the area felt safe. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful.

We’ve stayed at lots of Residence Inns around the US, but I’d avoid this one. It’s overpriced, and they charge for parking every night. Maybe the franchise ownership is why they do it, but it’s a shame Marriott doesn’t set guidelines to keep the properties consistent.
