Quality Inn Roanoke Airport

Check-in was easy and it wasn't too noisy at night. The breakfast was decent, though this is the first motel or hotel I've seen where guests aren't allowed to take it back to their room and have to eat in the dining area. The website mentioned a pet fee, which sounded like more than one pet could be allowed, but they only accept dogs. I paid $159 for two nights in a smoking room. The room was okay, but the floor was nasty, the toilet paper hadn't been replaced, and housekeeping could use a deep clean every six months to prevent buildup. Maybe some rooms are better depending on availability. For the cleanliness, I think it should've cost $110 at most. A few dollars more might have gotten me somewhere nicer.

My boyfriend and I had been staying here since the end of January 2026, about three and a half months, and the disrespect from staff and managers has been unbelievable. Amy Patel told us we couldn't stay anymore for no reason. When I asked why, she called the police on us. Sam, another manager, also said we could no longer stay without giving a reason. He overcharged us, promised to return the money when we spoke to him, and then didn't. Housekeeping barely wants to provide fresh things for the room, and they only clean it halfway. The front desk workers, Julie and Shelby, have terrible attitudes. When we ask why they're rude, they put us on the don't rent a room list.

I usually figure you get what you pay for, and I'm not much of a complainer, but cigarette burns in the bedspread and used soap left in the shower are too much. Half the electrical outlets didn't work, and the pillows were two different sizes. I don't know how this place got better reviews. I'm fair in my reviews and understand that some things go wrong, but this is a place that needs a serious shake-up.

I've seen worse rooms, but the floor was filthy and clearly hadn't been mopped. It's an outside-entry place, and the door wouldn't stay shut. The shower wasn't very clean either.
