Hotel Indigo Rochester – Mayo Clinic Area by IHG

We left early after the hotel comped our room, and moved across the street to the Hilton garden. I'd tell people to book somewhere else. The housekeeping was sub par, and the night staff came across as unhelpful and apathetic. Our first room had badly stained sheets with body hair on them. We called the front desk, then went out for food. An hour later nothing had been done, so we called again to confirm the request and bed size. Nico arrived with a fitted sheet and a top sheet, but they were queen size. My husband went down for replacements. Nico returned with only a king fitted sheet. We explained we needed a fitted sheet, top sheet, and four pillowcases. Next he brought just a top sheet. We were told the housekeeping manager had locked the sheet cabinet, but after some convincing, Nico went to another room for pillowcases and brought back two. The next morning we spoke to the front desk, and to their credit, they comped our room and let us cancel the rest of our stay.

The shuttle is what brings me back for every Mayo appointment. The friendly driver makes getting to the hospital no hassle, and I'm really grateful for that. The place is clean and nice, with several good restaurants within walking distance.

Crave Restaurant by the lobby was the highlight for me. I'd come back just for that. I really liked the hotel and recommend it. We were visiting for a procedure at the Mayo clinic. The room was modern, attractive, and clean, and the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of soft, fluffy towels, and the zenology products were beyond excellent. Housekeeping was friendly and helpful. The front desk clerks weren't rude, just a little disinterested.

The garage ramp is really tight, so don't bring a pickup if you plan to park there. Aside from that, five out of five for the hotel. We were in town for Mayo Clinic appointments, and the room was spacious and super clean. I'll definitely stay again. Go ahead and book a room.
