The coffee was great, and the subway made the location convenient. My room was fine, though the furnace in 501 sounded like it might explode. It did keep us warm. Breakfast was OK.

We had a comfortable, dependable stay at the Residence inn, with warm, kind employees and great service. Cheryl and Clayton prepared breakfasts we enjoyed, and Danni helped sort out an issue with my key card. We’re looking forward to visiting again.

I should’ve checked out as soon as I got to the room. The bedroom door wouldn’t close, and there was no hot or even warm shower water at 10pm, 1am, or 8am. My titanium status got me a perfect view of a jackhammer running nonstop all day, plus the smallest single bed I’ve seen in thousands of hotel stays. No lotion, either. The shower was so slippery I cleaned it myself, and an elderly person could’ve fallen. Several towels had brown marks, which I chose to believe was makeup. Also, the kitchen GFCI plug kept blowing when I tried to charge a phone. I’d stay at the new South location.

The customer service was outstanding and breakfast was excellent. The hotel was very clean and well equipped, with a full kitchen, microwave, and refrigerator. It was convenient for Mayo Clinic appointments, and I’ll choose it again for future visits.

The controlled temperature subway access was especially appreciated in winter. It’s only a 5 minute walk from the hotel to the Mayo Clinic entrance, which made our Mayo Clinic experience much easier. This hotel makes us feel like family and at home. Ashley and Fili were so helpful, and Leslie made breakfast a treat. The renovation going on didn’t bother us at all. I’ll definitely stay here again when we’re in town.
