Hampton Inn & Suites Rockingham

We stayed for a little over a week because of unexpected problems at home, and the staff made us feel settled from the minute we arrived. During the snowstorm, Tobi went out of her way to keep guests safe and comfortable. I also watched her help other guests, and she was consistently kind, professional, and caring. Megan and Mikala handled our check-in and let us know they were there if we needed anything. Shine looked after us at the front desk the next morning while Tobi was away, and Dontrice and Evelyn were attentive throughout our stay too. From housekeeping and the front desk to breakfast, everyone helped make the place feel like home. My husband Greg and I really appreciate their dedication and hospitality. They do such a good job, it’s easy to see why guests might hate to leave. Thank you all.

Breakfast was really good, and the stay felt like a very good value. The room was great, with a super comfortable bed and a bathroom bigger than most. Everything was VERY CLEAN!! The reception staff were friendly and polite at both check-in and checkout. We didn't use the pool, though it looked well maintained. We'll definitely stay here again!

We were in town for a funeral, and the staff made a hard time easier. The weather was bad and the service was at 11am, so they arranged a later checkout and took away some of the pressure and stress. Ms. Evelyn greeted us with such a warm smile, and she and her manager Jodi were especially accommodating. It started with my husband calling to book. Journey took care of our reservation and helped with arrangements for family coming from NJ. She was just as pleasant in person as she had been on the phone. Everyone was professional, courteous, and understanding. I care a lot about customer service, and when a team gets it right, I want people to know. I was here for seven weeks while working on a project, and the staff are what made the long stay feel like home. The front desk team, Gernie, Erica, Hailey, and Evlyn, were always welcoming, warm, and professional. Asya and the other ladies serving breakfast started my mornings with a smile, and housekeeping left me with a clean room and fresh linen. They were cheerful, hardworking, and clearly cared about making guests comfortable. Gernie is also a great artist, and I attached one of her works. The hotel is brand new and has good amenities, including a pool. The location worked perfectly for me, with Walmart right next door and plenty of places to eat and laundromats within a five-minute drive. Thanks to everyone at Hilton Rockingham. I hope we cross paths again.
