Berry Manor Inn

The breakfast was a real highlight, with lots of care in the details and a classic all-American spread. We stopped for one night on the way to Acadia National Park, and check-in was easy. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and shared a little of the property’s history. The place is beautiful, pleasant to walk around, and has plenty of parking. There’s a cozy but spacious room, plus a common area with games, coffee, tea, and some light food. Fresh pie smell around the property added a homey feel. The building is older, and there was a faint carpet odor that could use a deep clean. The blankets were sandwiched between two sheets, which wasn’t very comfortable, and bidets in the washrooms would be a welcome addition.

After three nights, Berry Manor Inn felt like home, and our 15-month-old absolutely loved it too. Mary was wonderful, and the breakfasts every morning and all that pie were incredible. We had fun with the puzzles and DVDs, which felt so nostalgic. We didn’t know what to expect in Maine, but this place was a huge highlight. Best place we’ve ever stayed, honestly.

We came hoping to see snow and find out a bit about Rockland. We ended up amazed, especially by the incredible breakfast. Thanks for such a great stay. We’ll be back as soon as we can.

Mary, the innkeeper, and her sweet cat CeCe were the best part of the trip. Mary was so welcoming and accommodating, with a big heart, and I’ll remember her for a long time. The inn itself is beautiful and central to Rockland’s activities, with fantastic decor, a good breakfast, and more amenities than I’ve had at any other B&B.
