Booking through a third-party company was my mistake, I guess, because when we arrived they couldn't find our reservation. I was upset, but the man at the front desk seemed sorry about the trouble and gave us a room for 10% off, which was kind of him. The room was nice and smelled good. We could have used two sets of towels and washcloths instead of one, but managed. Breakfast was decent, and overall the place wasn't too bad.

The room was too small, and there weren't enough towels for two people. We asked the front desk to move us, but they refused. The towels had big holes and stains, the AC was really noisy, and there was a hole in the window curtain too. I wouldn't stay here again.

The staff were friendly and check-in was easy. My room wasn't especially clean, though it was decent enough for two nights. The little details were neglected: corners and high spots hadn't been vacuumed or dusted, and bugs were trapped in light fixtures, especially the one above the bed. That was creepy. There were mouse traps all over, which I first figured were just a precaution, until a mouse ran across my floor and out the door. I didn't see bugs in my own room, but the mouse really put me off. The old air conditioners and hallway baseboard heating need attention, the building is dated and could use updated fixtures and decor, and pest control is definitely needed. Exterior doors don't close properly, which could be a security concern. They were stingy with linens too. For two people I got one bath towel and two hand towels, then had to go down the next morning for more. I still ended up with two bath towels, no washcloths or hand towels, and no bath mat. Since it was only two nights, I didn't want to complain, especially after hearing another woman at the counter describe a terrible night with some of the same issues and more. I wasn't sure how staff dealt with her, but I got the feeling I should just stick it out and leave. Hopefully someone invests money in the hotel. Otherwise, in five years it may be completely run down.

I paid for two days and the cable didn't work. They moved me to another room, where it still didn't work, and after I returned to the desk a third time, the staff finally admitted the cable was out. I woke up with blood on my pillow but didn't think much of it. Then after my shower, I reached for a clean towel and noticed blood on it just before wiping my face. At 2am the second night, I woke to find two rats on the table. There were droppings in the room and mouse traps beside the beds. Staff made it very difficult to get a refund, even after I showed photos of the blood, traps, and droppings. I had to call the police before they took me seriously and refunded me. The night clerk, Muhammad, also charged $96 to my card, calling it a security deposit. The next shift said the hotel doesn't have one. I felt the stay was uncomfortable and hazardous, and guests should watch their card transactions while checked in and check them again before leaving. I won't return. I believe Muhammad stole my money and made a false claim. I'd upload the photos of the bloody towel and pillow, traps, and droppings, but the review won't let me.
