Comfort Suites

I’m glad this was just a one-night stop before moving on. I picked the hotel because it advertised an indoor pool, but we only found out it was out of service after changing and going down to swim. A sign at the desk would’ve helped. The trash hadn’t been emptied after the previous guest, though it wasn’t full or smelly, so that wasn’t a big deal. The drapes were extremely dusty and looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned in over a year, which made me wonder what else was missed. The woman at the front desk seemed like she didn’t want to be there. The stay was just okay.

I’ve been here each day for three months, with my company arranging the stay, and the room has been clean every time. The shower has good pressure, breakfast has a nice variety, and the small indoor gym is enough to get a good workout. All the staff have been friendly, but Priscilla has been especially welcoming and helpful. I’m happy with my stay.

Emily at the front desk was kind, welcoming, and helpful. The shared areas were clean, though they could use a refresh, and the exterior and parking lot could use some work. The room, though, was so clean it surprised me, especially given my background in boutique hotels. I usually see claims about clean rooms that don’t match what I find, but here I could barely find anything in poor condition. The one thing I’d ask them to address soon is the AC units sometimes spitting out what looks like ash. It’s been hard to find clean places to stay in this area, so we tried Comfort Suites in Rome for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. We wish we’d been able to stay more than one night, and we’ll come back when we’re in the area. Stayed 5/16/22, Rm 222.

The rooms are clean, and housekeeping does a great job. The front desk staff are great too, and the people preparing breakfast are awesome. One of the two breakfast ladies has over 20 years of experience. The newer woman was a little nervous at first, but she was always polite and friendly, and within a few mornings she was managing on her own like a pro. Early mornings and guests can be rough, but these two keep everyone happy. I love this place. It’s always neat and clean, and the staff go out of their way for you. My favorite place to stay, and you’ll love it here too!
