Red Roof Inn & Suites Rome

Red Roof Inn & Suites of Rome has been great for the limited number of days we get here. It's my go-to place. The actual manager, Mrs Amy, has helped me and others I know whenever something came up at the last minute, and she's made it happen every time. Thanks again to her and the other three who work day or night shift.

The second room had a smoke smell, cockroaches, and a shower that barely trickled on warm and sprayed a little harder on cold. We only stayed because it was 4am after a long drive. Before that, room 205 had toothpaste on the walls and ironing board, what looked like poop on the towels, and mud on the floor. The night clerk was rude, too. One star feels too generous. I wouldn't let my dog stay here.

The room was really clean, and the staff made me feel welcome and treated me personally. For an economy hotel, I thought it was a great value compared with other places I've stayed.

For the price, it was very nice. The door needs a better seal because large cockroaches are getting in, and the shower sprayed water all over the room. Aside from those issues, I liked it.
