Room 146 got really cold, and the key cards stop working if they touch your phone. The kitchenette has a hot plate, but there were no dishes or cookware, just a cutting board. The view was nice. The area felt sketchy: when we arrived, an officer was circling the parking lot and the woman at the desk knew him by name. Another guest said, “it's bad for business.” It wasn't the worst stay, but I would've spent my money a little farther south in West Columbia at the executive inn.

We got a clean, quiet room and had a good night's rest before heading back out on the road. Our reservation had the wrong details, but Maria sorted it out and got us into the room size we needed. She saved the day!

The rooms' new name and appearance gave me the wrong impression. I was bitten by spiders several times, and the infestation seems severe and ongoing. I see that as a serious health and safety risk for guests, not something a quick fix or a management oversight can address. To me, it points to long-standing neglect and a failure by the top-level ownership. I'd urge anyone considering a stay to look into this specific address's history. The people in charge seem unwilling to make the fundamental changes needed to make the property safe. Avoid!

After a full day working in the hot sun, I got back to room 300 and the AC kept switching off without cooling the room. I also killed two roaches, and the room wasn't clean the way I expected. For the price, I expected a lot better. I can't recommend this hotel.

The motel's location is handy, with easy freeway access and a Walmart down the street. Still, at $80 a night I'd choose somewhere a bit nicer. People above us were smoking really strong weed, enough that we kept the bathroom door closed, and our blanket had a hole in it.
