The room I finally got after calling for someone to come down was disgusting. There was vomit and another questionable liquid on the bathroom floor, the towel had clearly been used, and the whole third floor smelled like feces. I wouldn’t trust my belongings there, let alone sleep there. The place was crawling with roaches, bed bugs, and other bugs. People seemed to live there, and I saw people smoking outside and wandering around looking into cars. The front desk was closed, so no one was there when I arrived. It took a call before anyone came down with a room key. This shouldn’t be listed as a hotel. It felt more like a halfway house being used as one. No, no, no.

I had paid to stay at Extended Stay America, but after repeated late-night knocks from employees about noise that wasn’t coming from my room, I no longer felt safe there. I had no TV, music, or other disturbance on, yet they kept alleging noise complaints over several nights. The interruptions cost me sleep and made me feel targeted and harassed, so I had to leave.

Precious made the place feel more like home than a hotel. I had to check out, but asked if I could leave my things in the room for one extra hour, and she was very accommodating. She remembered my name after I’d told her just once. I absolutely love her.

My family and I had a quiet night, and Precious has gone above and beyond for us since day one. She’s always here from early morning until late and makes sure guests enjoy their stay. She’s the sweetest, most helpful manager. Rosemary was also very helpful with all my questions on my first day.
