We had a clean room near the door, which made getting to the car easy, and everything in it worked perfectly. The coffee was yummy and we enjoyed the pastries too. We checked in late, and Debra was friendly, caring, professional, and really helpful.

I’ve been staying here for a while, and the customer service has been impeccable. Pam, Charmaine, Cassie, and the rest of the Team deserve my thanks. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and the front desk goes out of its way to sort out unexpected issues. They treat people as Guests, not Customers. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful stay.

I was told I had 20 minutes to leave at 11:30 a.m., even though I’d made a reservation for two more days. When I asked the General Manager if she’d seen my email about the pet fee, she said she hadn’t. I’d praised a staff member for the Team Work, but the manager called Round Rock Police Dept. and yelled at me in front of her staff. As a business owner, I found that very unprofessional and a sign of poor leadership. My concern was a $25 charge, which came to $28.50 after tax, for the last 14 days. I understood the Extended Stay Policy to say that after six days of reservation(s), the pet fee is $10 and not to exceed $15. I only wanted what I believed was owed applied to my next two-day reservation. The General Manager said Extended Stay didn’t have to follow State Law and that I still had to pay $28.50 each day. My pet, A Moorkie named Sargent, is an E.S.A. I have documentation of his training and mine, and I’m a Military Veteran. The stress of worrying about him and where he was made this especially upsetting. As a pet lover, I don’t consider this a pet friendly establishment. I spoke with Corporate, who called the property and told me I wasn’t welcome back. Corporate also said they couldn’t reverse the charges, only the General Manger could. Definitely not a pet friendly property.

The staff, including the front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance, were always helpful and courteous. My pet loved them and looked forward to walking up to the desk at potty time. I also appreciated how clean and well kept the room and common areas were. Extended Stay America at 16950 N I-35 is in a convenient spot, with easy access to the interstate, restaurants, and nearby stores. The property is simple and no-frills, but it had what I needed for a comfortable, practical stay. The staff were friendly and professional, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I had a pleasant visit and would consider staying again.
