Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Round Rock

Mina made our one-night stay easy from the moment we arrived. She was kind and helpful, got the room ready for my early check-in, brought extra towels, and checked that we were comfortable. The room was cozy and clean, just right for a quick getaway. I had a great stay thanks to her.

The rooms we were given weren’t connecting, even though that’s what we were supposed to have. Upstairs, the hallway floor looked like it was caving in, and the air conditioner vents had black mold growing in them. We asked to move and were put downstairs. Those rooms were better, but still not up to my standards, and I’d already paid. There were people constantly coming and going by the elevators, and the whole upstairs smelled like marijuana, though I don’t know where it was being smoked. At check-in, the man helping us stopped our conversation when the phone rang and rudely told me to be quiet so he could answer it. He was disrespectful about it.

Monica at the front desk made everything such a breeze. The room was really spacious and clean, with no odd smells, and there were restaurants all around. I had an amazing stay.

Check-in was easy and the room was ready, which matters when you’re waiting with a walker or wheelchair. The place was very nice and clean. My room was spacious, and the roomy roll-in shower had grab bars. Great service.
